Sunday Afternoon Dhamma Talks (updated information)

Keeping with an established tradition, Amaravati Buddhist Monastery will be offering Sunday afternoon Dhamma talks during the traditional three-month 'rains retreat' which runs from the full moon of July to the full moon of October. The talks will take place every Sunday beginning on Sunday, July 12 and continuing through until Sunday, October 4.

A Day of Celebration: Ordinations & Anniversaries

On Saturday, July 4, 2009 Amaravati Buddhist Monastery will celebrate three auspicious events in one day. July 4 this year is the 10th anniversary of the Temples opening on July 4, 1999. This summer also marks 25 years since the Sangha arrived at Amaravati in 1984. These events will be celebrated with an Upasampadā (higher ordination ceremony) for four men, commencing at 2.00pm. All are welcome to attend!

Saturday Evening Dhamma Talks

A senior member of the Sangha will give a Dhamma Talk every Saturday at 7.30pm after the Evening Puja. All are welcome to attend.
