From South/South West:
Take the M25 to junction 20. Follow the A41 to Hemel Hempstead.
From London/ East/ North:
Take M1 to Junction 8. Follow A414 to Hemel town centre.
From roundabout at Hemel Hempstead town centre:
Take A4146 (Leighton Buzzard). About 4 miles later, after crossing a very narrow one-lane bridge in Water End, turn left at crossroads sign-posted Great Gaddesden, (Wyevale garden centre at the corner). Go past the village, up the hill,and turn right when the road forks. Amaravati is just up the lane on the left.
From West/North West:
Drive to Berkhamsted. At traffic lights at centre of town, turn into Lower Kings Rd. (which becomes Station Rd.); follow it to T-junction (Gravel Path). Turn left (uphill) and drive to Nettleden (3 miles). Here, take a right uphill road, signposted Gt. Gaddesden (across from church). Go over the crest of the hill and take first left turn (very sharp). Amaravati is on this lane on the left.

Departs from Hemel bus station:
10:25 (not Fri), 13:05, 16:00, 17:45 (not Sat).
It takes 10-15 min. to reach Great Gaddesden or Nettleden and another fifteen minutes to walk to the monastery.
There is no service on Sunday or public holidays.
